Job description
As a Key Account Manager GT, these would be some of your main responsibilities.
1. Turning Strategy into Action:
• You develop and execute a winning Channel Strategy for the General Trade by identifying key growth opportunities, prioritizing customers, and leveraging the latest trends and innovations.• You take local ownership of the Retail Strategy, ensuring alignment with global strategies while tailoring execution to the Korean market.• You build and implement Customer Business Plans that optimizes assortment, distribution, visibility and drives building household penetration leading up towards sustainable growth.• You continuously analyse data, track KPI’s and apply revenue management principles to optimize performance and unlock incremental growth in the respective channels.
2. Customer Management & Growth:
• You own and strengthen commercial relationships with key players in each channel, with a primary focus on our defined “Focus & Grow” and “Optimize” customers. • You work closely with the customer to ensure excellent execution at the point of sale.• You ensure flawless execution of the Customer Business Plan, building Perfect Stores and driving best-in-class in-store activation (main shelf, promotions, etc.).• You take responsibility for the Promotion Plan by channel, customer, brand and SKU, working closely together with the Marketing team.• You take responsibility for the Sales Forecast by customer, brand, and SKU, working closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure a solid demand plan that aligns with our business goals. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration for Success:
• You partner with the Sales Director to ensure full alignment with overall market, channel, customer and brand strategies.• You collaborate with the Category Development & Marketing Manager and Trade Marketing Analyst to translate category insights and marketing strategies into impactful channel/customer execution.• You collaborate with all other relevant functions; Supply Chain, Finance and Human ResourcesThis role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the General Trade in Korea, combining strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on excellent execution to drive breakthrough growth in off-line retail.

Education (degree):
- Relevant Bachelor degree
Specific knowledge:
• Demonstrate strong understanding of the General Trade channel.• Understanding of the wholesale/vendor model and way to manage in Korea• Understanding of Korean retail and shopping trends
Experience:
• 8-12years in Sales/Key Account Management within an (international) FMCG company.• Prior experience managing major wholesale/vendors is a must.
Language:
• Fluent in Korean (both verbally and written)• English (basic level)
Personal competences:
• Strong personality, serious partner in business• Strong communicator both internal and external. Representative for the company.• Analytical, fact based, solution thinker (‘how can we make this happen”)• Hands on mentality, decision maker and excellent in execution• Understands the broader picture with an eye for detail• Open mind and has agility to embrace and lead change• Entrepreneurial and a high energy level

Personal Targets:• Turnover and Commercial margin for General Trade business• General Trade related KPI’s based on Customer Business Plan• Promotion Plan – Excellent Execution• Sales Forecasting accuracy
