Willems Biscuits is looking to strengthen the sales team with a Commercial Controller & Demand Planner. In this role you will focus on strengthening the commercial controlling activities and to further improve the overall Sales & Operations Planning processes.

Job description

Willems Biscuits is specialized in private label brands with a focus on Speculoos, Spread, Waffles & Pastries internationally. 

As a Commercial Controller & Demand Planner you combine the following responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the commercial controlling of our fast-growing Area and act as trusted partner for your stakeholders:
    • You prepare, analyze and deliver on-time accurate commercial insights and operational expenses toward management.
    • You are the “go-to” person for all commercial controlling questions related to pricing, ESG and master data.
    • You manage, develop and improve the commercial controlling and reporting processes for Willems Biscuits.
  • You also have a key role in our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and are accountable for a high quality demand forecast for our Area. With your in-depth knowledge, you challenge our (National) Account Managers to help improve the process and take the necessary actions. You gather their data to prepare and lead the monthly demand planning meeting.
  • Finally the Sales Services Manager, who is responsible for leading and managing the Sales Services team, reports to you. This person is accountable for the commercial & financial support within our sales department focused both on retail and B2B/OOH. You help them accomplish these goals.
  • In this role you report to the Sales Director of Customer Brand Business.

Profile

  • You have a Master's degree, combined with 3 to 5 years of relevant (financial) experience.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are business oriented; you have a strong urge to understand and analyze the business drivers behind the numbers.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of S&OP, demand planning and/or forecasting and are able to interpret, structure and challenge data from other stakeholders.
  • You are a good communicator and are able to build relations with different stakeholders. You are fluent in Dutch & English. A good command of French is considered a plus.
  • You have extensive Excel knowledge. Experience with SAP is definitely an asset here as well.
