About 40% of your time will be dedicated at supporting the Legal team in matters of Corporate Governance and Corporate Housekeeping. For the listed holding company, you will assist with organizing the Annual General Meeting and in processing the requests for dematerialisation of shares and prepare requisite communications and notifications on share transactions. For all other Group entities, you will be in charge of the entire corporate housekeeping, from annual shareholders meetings to keeping the corporate books in order. You will also support the team in their contract management.
As a paralegal, you will also play a pivotal role in organising, coordinating and implementing legal and compliance projects, including legal tech. About 40% of your time will be focussed around managing compliance software and following-up of compliance trainings, policy roll-outs, monitoring and reporting of compliance project.
Supporting the event planning of the Corporate Communications colleagues is embedded in this function as well. You may expect a wide varitery of practicalities coming your way related to Corporate Events such as the New Year Reception, Annual Meeting and other corporate communication events.
More standard administrative support tasks that can come your way are document drafting and power point design, signatory management, and general phone and courrier management.
Profil
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
A study degree in Legal Practice or relevant working experience as a Paralegal. Having a strong interest and a first insight into the legal practice of an International company is something that we would consider a strong plus.
Supporting a team requires skills that include multi-tasking, the ability to prioritize and a strong attention to detail.
You are able to work independantly with a service-oriented mindset and enjoy working in an International environment.
Your language skills include fluent Dutch & English. French would be a nice asset.
