We are looking for a Shift Leader to join our team at the Chonburi plant. In this key role, you will supervise and lead the production team during your assigned shift, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production and packaging lines. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding daily key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, efficiency, and output. As a coach and motivator, you will play an active role in training, developing, and managing the performance of production staff, working closely with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Operator in the factory producing original biscoff cookies

Functiebeschrijving

  • You will lead, supervise, and manage a team of 15-20 team members on your assigned shift to follow the Lotus Excellence Program to deliver the production output/activities as per the Factory KPI target.
  • You will coach and foster the personal development of the operators in your assigned shift to ensure that they have adequate capabilities to perform their roles and grow in their careers.
  • You will monitor the proper operation of machinery and intervene where necessary to prevent disruptions.   
  • You will make decisions on the need to escalate technical issues or quality non-conformities including the escalation of any technical malfunctions and abnormalities to the related parties to help resolve the issues.
  • You will demonstrate a good role model of following a safety and quality culture and fostering your team to follow the same protocol, guidelines, and procedure.
  • You will establish excellent communication within your team, across the team, and function through the communication protocol.
  • You will reinforce the right culture and behavior to follow the company's TOP values and be able to escalate any deviation from the standards and manage the disciplinary action to hold the high standard and the right behavior.
  • You will be able to work on a rotation shift as per the shift pattern.

Profiel

Qualification:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment and leading a team (Preferably a food factory).
  • Having knowledge and experience with Thai FDA requirements and regulations, standards such as FSSC22000, IFS, or BRC is a plus
  • Experience with inspections and/or quality control
  • Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical engineering and utilities.
  • Basic math skills and Intermediate computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Language:       Fluent communication in Thai (reading, speaking, and writing) and Fair to good English (reading, speaking, and writing)
