We are growing our business in Italy and are hiring a Regional Account Manager. You will be responsible for developing the business in your region, for delivering the yearly, and long term, profitable sales growth of your customers.

  • Developing and implementing an account plan in line with the Lotus bakeries strategy and the development of a strong commercial relationship.
  • Translating the brand strategy at the customer level by means of the growth pillars range, shelf, promotions, displays,...;
  • Translating the national marketing initiatives that contribute to the growth of the Lotus bakeries volumes
  • To achieve an optimal return on the available budget and resources;
  • Monitoring and management of all administrative, logistical or financial issues encountered by customers in close consultation with the sales assistant;
  • Developing and implementing a profitable price, packaging and promotional strategy;
  • Taking care of the relationship and contract management to achieve the commercial objectives and make responsible choices regarding the use of budget and resources
  • Working closely with Category Management to jointly develop and implement key leverages that enable you to grow the business;
  • Collaborating with field sales, focusing on an effective market approach by translating the range and promotional initiatives in clear KPI’s
  • Building and maintaining an effective network within the FMCG market.
  • Analyzing and translating all relevant market data
  • Building sustainable contacts with the customers, strong analytical skills, pro-active thinking and acting, in combination with a hands on mentality and a team player profile are critical to the success of this position.
  • Efficient communication of relevant commercial information to other internal or external stakeholders.

Profil

University degree (Bachelor or Master), preferably in an economic direction

Min. 5 years FMCG experience is a must

Knowledge about Italian trade structure inside Italian Retail

Understanding of Sales Process dynamics (interrelations headoffice vs regions vs agencies level)

Good knowledge on IRI/GFK Execution

Affinity with numbers

Based in or around Naples, willing to travel most of the time (70%)

Language: Fluent in written and spoken Italian, good understanding of English (written and spoken)
