For our factory in Chonburi, Thailand we are looking for Corporate Buyer Raw & Packaging Materials. In this role you are a member of the Corporate Procurement team and act as a trusted partner for the Manufacturing Team in our new factory in Chonburi, Thailand. You have exposure to the business in a growing, multinational setting, requiring close collaboration with key stakeholders across the Group.

Functiebeschrijving

  • You establish, streamline and implement the Lotus Bakeries purchase strategy (procedures, guidelines, tools, responsibilities, KPI’s, …) for the procurement of Raw Materials and Packaging Portfolios.
  • You analise market information and incorporate into sourcing stratecy with the effective execution of the strategy and follow commercial compliance.
  • You also initiate and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure good, reliable sources of supply and information.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Quality, R&D, Planning, Logistics, Production and Procurement colleagues on existing product development (EPD) and new product development (NPD) activities. 

Profiel

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

  • You have a University degree, Master of a certain economics degree, combined with 5-7 years of experience in strategic procurement and sourcing negotiations (Raw Materials and Packaging Materials), preferably in FMCG
  • You have a strong fit with our TOP-values Team Spirit, Open Dialogue and Passion.  
  • You are able to think out of the box, entrepreneur, proactive, hands-on, reliable with good project management skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • You have a global mindset in both attitude and communication (Thai & English is key)
  • You have a knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook, experience in SAP is considered a plus.
  • You are open to work in either Chonburi or Bangkok , Thailand.
