Key Account Manager Food service

We are strengthening our team with a Key Account Manager Foodservice (m/f/d) to manage our Lotus Biscoff & Natural Foods business at OOH customers focusing on C&C wholesale. In this role you are managing the customer relationships and delivering the strategies for yearly and long term, profitable sales growth of your customers together with the Channel Manager OOH.

  • Translating the national brand and away-from-home strategy at customer level by means of the growth pillars range such as product listings, promotions, trade fairs, etc.
  • Establishing and maintaining of strong commercial relationships with OOH trade partners responsible for (e.g. Rewe OOH partners, Metro C&C)
  • Development of targeted, customer-related plans to achieve joint commercial objectives
  • Lead the annual negotiations with customers responsible for
  • Building conceptual OOH related trade selling stories on our Lotus Biscoff & Natural Foods portfolio
  • Building and maintaining an effective network within the OOH market and acting as brand ambassador at customers, events, fairs, etc.
  • Analyzing and translating relevant OOH market data
  • Close collaboration with Marketing/Category Management to jointly develop and implement key levers that enable to grow the business
  • Monitoring and management of all administrative, logistical or financial tasks encountered by customers in close consultation with the Key Account Assistant and other departments
  • Building sustainable contacts with the customers, strong analytical skills, pro-active thinking and acting, in combination with a hands-on mentality and a team player profile are essential to the success of this position.

  • The Key Account Manager Foodservice role is based in Düsseldorf and reports to the Channel Manager OOH.

Profiel

  • University degree (Master/Bachelor) in economics or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience with FMCG experience is a must
  • Profound knowledge of the German Out of Home market structure
  • Experience in sales process dynamics (interrelations head office vs regions)
  • Distinctive communication and negotiation capability
  • Excellence in execution
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills
  • Affinity with numbers
  • Enthusiasm and ability to take others on a joint journey
  • Fluent in written and spoken German, good understanding of English (written and spoken)
