- Ensure to develop and implement logistics strategies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Need to manage the entire logistics process, including importing, transportation and distribution via road, sea, and air.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
- Manage Customer Service with all Sales offices and International Sales team.
- Oversee freight forwarding activities, negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of logistics service providers and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations relating to logistics and transportation.
- Communicate regularly with international vendors to ensure that all the necessary paperwork/documentation is accurate and received in a timely manner.
- Align regularly with Corporate & Local Buyers to help facilitate high-level visibility of all international shipments.
- Worked daily with Freight Forwarders to ensure transit and rate optimization.
- Be proactive and identify any potential customs issues.
Profiel
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management
- 5 years proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing, import and export environment.
- Proficient in using SAP, logistics management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to build and develop great relationships, both internally and externally
- Able to prioritise quickly in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment.
