Working from our Baar (Zug) office and reporting directly to the Country Manager, you build the Lotus Brands & Natural Foods Brands in the Swiss market and take on the responsibility for local brand & trade marketing activities for brands such as Biscoff, Dinosaurus, Nãkd, TREK & BEAR.

  • You create Consumer & Shopper insights through analysis of markets, categories, competition and customers as well as by evaluating the impact and results of actions on both retail and Away-from-Home (AFH). You also build a channel strategy in order to take advantage of brand building and sales opportunities in both existing and alternative channels, support the sales team in their efforts to enter new channels.
  • you manage the categories in terms of KPI’s, strategy towards assortment and promotions, tactics to implement and review progress and sales & profits by providing overall shopper value. Through the collection, organization and analysis of different data sources, you also provide regular business analysis and reports in order to help both colleagues and customers to improve sales and margins.
  • Together with the sales team, you create and provide all assets for communication towards the trade, prepare reports and analysis of sales, and build trade presentations. You are also our go-to colleague when it comes to instore marketing with topics such as shopper decisions, routing, POS material, shelving, influencing consumers, etcetera.
  • As a Brand Specialist, you develop local activations and actions, such as business cases for NPD’s, packaging development and trade marketing activities. You adapt and launch local media & online campaigns together with our Global Brand department, track, analyse and report on the performance of these campaigns and manage the media budget.
  • In short, you play a key part in the commercial success for our brands in Switzerland.

Profiel

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

  • Strong knowledge of and experience in the Swiss FMCG-market and media landscape
  • A relevant academic background with a university degree or similar education Marketing
  • 3 years of experience in the Category Management/Development and/or Trade & Brand Marketing.
  • Passion and commitment for our brands. This passion is strengthened by your skills in bringing ideas to life and ability to build trust and confidence within your stakeholders.
  • You combine a hands-on attitude with a curiousity to grow and the talent to think strategically and driving results on both short and long-term.
  • You feel at ease in a multicultural and quickly changing environment, where you are able to collaborate and communicate on all levels. Fluency in (Swiss) German and English is a must.
